Default Bbi 512 in la jolla

went down to San Diego to do a side job, then i made my way up the coast,to Symbolic in La Jolla, my all time favorite exotic car palace,,got a chance to say hello to Sean, who is still there after 20 years !!!, as always they had an overwhelming amount of Lambos and Ferraris for me to absorb, and you know what, after looking at all the modern Horses and Bulls that they had, what do you know,i couldnt stop staring at this 84 Boxer,,just timeless beauty on four wheels,,anything new, just cant hold the iron for me,,asking price 119,000 !!!, not bad for all you well to do gentlemen that might want to have a go LOL ,i also included one photo of my Horse ,just for good measure, Brett

I think Boxers are poised to rise in value. $119k seems about as low you'll see one anymore. I mean, come on, a Dino fetches $200k on a regular basis and only has half the cylinders.

That dark red is absolutely stunning, Boxers are so much cooler than their price suggests. Almost makes me want to be a twelve guy. Almost.

One of my favorite cars - no idea why the demand is so low.

I don't go gaga for the 512 - red 355, 360 Spiders on the other hand...

I think you need to view these cars in their context. This is a design from 1971, over 40 years old. It was mighty impressive at the time, and for over 10 years the Countach and BB competed over being every boy's room poster as the world's only hypercars at the time. Neither the 355 nor the 360 can make such a claim. These cars were otherwordly rocketships in their day.

And believe me, to drive they are something else. Plenty to go gaga for.

Onno
