Default Mondial 8 Hot Starting

Can any body assist with the hot starting problem on a mondial 8.
Car starts first time every time from cold and drives great, but drive a few km and switch off she will not restart you have to crank and crank.
Is this a pump pressure problem or choking problem its fuel injection Bosh.

Please help as its getting embarrassing every body remarks how nice she looks but then she will not re start.:drive:

Does it restart after it sits for about 10-15 minutes?

Next time it won't start hot, check and see if it has spark when cranking. If not, it could be you've got a loose or dirty electrical connection somewhere in the ignition system. It is good enough when cold, but as electricity passes through it, it heats up and the resistance goes up enough that the car won't re-start. These "marginal" connections can be a bear to locate because the circuit is cooling down and the problem repairs itself while you are troubleshooting it. Check the fuse panel and just make sure there are no obvious signs of corrosion or heating up in there. Not sure how much different the Mondial fuse panel is from the 308, but you may need to pull it out and look at the back of it. After that it is just a matter of going through all the grounds and ignition circuit and making sure all the connections are clean and tight.

If it has spark when it won't start, then it may be a fuel problem. If it is a fuel problem, I don't know enough about the Bosch system to offer any insight as to why it may be giving too much or not enough fuel when warm.

Check out this post:
Replacement fuse panel for 308
Kind of shows you what I'm talking about on the fuses. My car had a prolonged "hot start" sequence for a while, crank and crank and it would finally go. Then one day it wouldn't start at all. This is what I found and what I did to fix it. It is fine now.

Default Hot start problem

Thanks for that but I really think its an Bosh injection problem? or pump pressure problem but not sure of pressures to check for, all ignition system checks out fine and the car is in top condition. but thanks for your lead will have a look at this also and get back to you.

Some body must be able to give me some assistance, I have found the thermo cold start switch under the intake manifolds, screws into the centre of the V of the cyl block, please some body advise of the procedure for testing it? sould it be a constant switch on or only switch on when hot. :drive:
