Hi. Still got a rev counter that is not reading right. Any new ideas from anyone short of taking it out and looking at it? Anyone taken one out before? (Had the car serviced and they say its not the sender at fault...apparently). Thanks.

Check to make sure the wires in back are not loose.

Took it out....shook it all about....and now it works again! Brilliant.
