Hi, I'm looking for a solenoid switch to open the engine lid. Would anyone know where I might find a new or rebuilt one? Thanks, Rob |

IF you are referring to the switch actually on the Engine Lid, then see below Either case these references will solve, today. Call Brian Keagan at Ferrparts, he is parting out a Mondial T cabriolet : Tell him Rik sent you. I'm currently getting some parts today. Probably best to call [ 888-383-8444 ], I am almost certain he currently has this part. http://ferrparts.com/details.php?part=10382 HOWEVER, I would always call our sponsor too, as they are VERY good for a quick, reliable, accurate and quaranteed part : RICAMBI http://www.ferrarilife.com/dealer/list.php RICAMBIAMERICA.com here is that part: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/parts_...&V=diag&I=1958 Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic Rik -- LAH ! Also the 360 solenoid fits with a bit of adpation, and is cheaper. If you can find the part number i'm sure you could buy it cheap at a bosch agent.

I was able to adapt a solenoid purchased from an advertised in one of the Hot Rod magazines. Cost for the solenoid was less than $100 (versus Ferrari's price of $1430 and Ricambi's price of $700+!).

In any event the solenoid, as per my last comment, was under $100. Thanks, Rob |
