Are you having troubles with the starter motor?
Don't fret too much. I had it, at first I thought it was the starter so I made rebuilt one for about 150 Euros because it is a Nipon Denso like Japaneses car so it was possible to find parts.
But finaly it was not it, it start one time and the next time it didn't work but made a "clac"(sound heard).

I will start with the oil temperature (temp) indicator.
On the 348 sometimes the oil temp indicator does not work anymore and will result in a false reading of the heat or no information at all. To check if it is in fact the oil temp indicator that is damaged you have to go on the back of the car. On the oil tank you have the oil therometor sensor.

When checking the oil level on a early model 308 be sure you check the oil within 3 to 5 mins. after stopping engine. If you do not check it in that time range the oil starts to drain out of the oil cooler back into the crankcase and will give you a false reading.

This is a special "trick" to installing igntion wires into the Magneti Marelli distributor caps. This is the method used for 7mm, but may also be used for 8mm wire (if it fits in the holes of the caps. It may require further trimming of the wire to fit).
1) Determine length of the wire needed (if you're replacing the old ones, match it to those. Please, work with one wire at a time).

The axle boots on your Ferrari can deteriorate with age and the elements. Use Westlys revitalizer and they will stay like new. It is for vinyl or rubber. It is made by Blue Coral and can be found at Pep Boys and other auto stores. Much better than heavy silicones. It actually penetrates the rubber and is not a coating.

When changing the engine oil in the car (olio motore) you can reuse the copper o-ring by reannealing it. Just hold it with a pair of pliers and heat it up with a torch or the kitchen stove (don't tell your wife) until it's red hot. Then dip it in some room temperature water to cool it off. Now you have a washer ready to be crushed again and that will seal properly.
